BurnBuster Gel was extensively tested by BioTox Lab to test its impact on vegetation and the environment. The sample received from BurnBuster was exposed as a screen on 1 trophic level (Phytotox) to assess the effect of the product on the receiving vegetation. Certified Biodegradable
On testing by SCI-BA Labs, BurnBuster Gel was found to have 100% degradation after 36 day(s). The lag phase was about 1 day(s) followed by a degradation phase between days 1 and 32
Whereby 90% degradation occurred and the 10-day window defined as days 1 through 11. Sample is readily biodegradable.

Non-Toxic
BurnBuster Gel was tested by Firelab to measure its relative toxicity and was found to have a low total toxicity index of 2.937 during the DEFSTAN (NES 713) Toxicity Test.

Lithium-ion Fire Tested
Fire safety experts FireBlock ran extensive tests comparing BurnBuster Gel with conventional Co2 and powder-based fire extinguishers and found the BurnBuster Gel is much more effective at damping these types of fires. The Gel cooled the burning batteries much more effectively and prevented thermal run-off. The conventional extinguishers did not, which could result in re-ignition.
